Description
Romania. Order of Loyal Service, Grand Officer set, military division w/ swords (wartime), made in silver and hallmarked, numbered #008. Four versions of the Grand Officer exist: the pre-1947 issue bears a surmounting crown and the royal coat of arms, while post-2000 issues bear a wreath and the national arms; the wartime military version features swords running through the cross. All carry a reverse inscription translating to "Faithful Service." Good condition.
