Description

German, Third Reich (c. 1939–1945). War Merit Cross (Kriegsverdienstkreuz) II Class with swords, in bronzed zinc, a Maltese cross with crossed swords between the arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika to the obverse, the reverse with the '1939' date, pierced at the top for ribbon suspension; maker-marked "1" for Deschler & Sohn, Munich. Of the standard ~48 mm form. Comes with original III Reich factory packaging. Good condition.
