German, Third Reich. M35 double-decal police helmet, an untouched factory-original example retaining most of its smooth pre-war apple-green paint with light wear, both decals roughly 99% intact under original factory lacquer with minimal toning. The interior is complete with an early reinforced aluminium liner band and supple, sound liner leather ink-stamped size '53'; the shell is stamped with lot number '3584' and 'ET60' for Eisenhüttenwerk Thale in shell size 60, and retains a full-length chin strap. Clean interior with no rust. Extremely fine condition.
