Honduras. Order of Santa Rosa and the Civilization, Commander Grade, circa 1880, in high-quality silver with finely detailed enamel work. Established in 1865 by President José María Medina to recognise contributions to civilisation, public service, arts, science and government, and awarded to Hondurans and distinguished foreign nationals alike. Very good condition, with faint enamel chipping.
