Description
German, Third Reich (c. 19391945). Infantry Assault Badge (Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen), Bronze Grade, in bronzed zinc, an oval oak-leaf wreath enclosing a Karabiner 98k rifle with fixed bayonet set diagonally, surmounted by an eagle grasping a mobile swastika, the reverse with a pinback; maker-marked "L/51" for E. Ferd. Wiedmann, Frankfurt. Of the standard ~49 × 61 mm form. Good condition.
