Description

German, Third Reich (c. 1939–1945). Wound Badge (Verwundetenabzeichen), Gold Grade, 1939 type, in gilt-finished silver, the oval face with an M1935 steel helmet bearing a mobile swastika over crossed swords within a laurel wreath, the reverse with a vertical pinback; maker-marked "127" for Moritz Hausch A.G. Of the standard ~37 × 44 mm oval form. Good condition.
