Description
German, Third Reich. German Horseman's Badge (Deutsches Pferdesport-Leistungsabzeichen) in bronze, oval, the obverse with an oak wreath enclosing a mounted rider above a horseshoe and the letter 'R', the reverse plain with a vertical pinback, barrel hinge and flat-wire catch, marked 'L. Chr. Lauer, Nürnberg' and 'Gesetzlich Geschützt'. Measures 42.68 x 52.32 mm. Very fine condition.
