Cuba. WWI Victory Medal by Chobillon, an official-issue bronze medal, the obverse engraved by the maker "C. Charles," the rim marked "BRONZE" with a Chobillon maker's mark. Cuba declared war on Germany one day after the United States in 1917 and sent 25,000 conscripted soldiers to France; Chobillon was the official manufacturer of the Cuban issue. Very fine condition.
