Bulgaria, Kingdom. Order of Military Merit, III Class Commander w/ swords and War Decoration, Type I (19001937 issue), in bronze gilt with red, white and green enamels, on its original full-length neck ribbon. Established by Prince Ferdinand I in 1900 as a military counterpart to the Order of Civil Merit, it ranks among Bulgaria's highest orders; the War Decoration was authorised in 1916. Near extremely fine condition.
